​St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Launches Inaugural Concert Series: Listen to Love – Music & Words to Heal a Heart

What: Celebrating our church’s 60th Anniversary, this series features four concerts by professional artists, followed by “Meet the Artist” receptions. Concerts are free, but general admission seating reservations are needed. A free-will offering will be collected.  

When: Join St. Alban’s Episcopal Church on January 18th at 4pm for Broadway and Contemporary Vocalist Becky Scott with the extraordinary pianist Kevin Cole, two shining stars from Bay City!

Betsy Scott is an actor, singer, & dancer.  She grew up in community theater, where she uncovered her love of storytelling.  She played roles such as Mary in Mary Poppins and Sally Bowles in Cabaret.  Ms. Scott graduated from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in 2023 where she played a variety of roles such as Hamlet, the devious Morgan in Godspell, and the witty Touchstone in As You Like It.  Now, Ms. Scott has embarked on a professional musical career which has taken her across the world!

Kevin Coleis widely regarded as the foremost interpreter of George Gershwin’s compositions. Cole’s performances have garnered accolades from America’s most prominent music critics and multiple return engagements with orchestras and concert series across the country. From the Hollywood Bowl to Carnegie Hall, Cole’s jazz-classical artistry has been presented and lauded at the highest levels.

  • January 18, 2026 – Betsy Scott, Vocalist - Broadway/Contemporary Songs
  • March 8, 2026 – Carol Kappus, Award-winning Celtic Harpist & Storyteller
